You spend around two hours in the town — enough for a walk around the Vieux-Bassin (the picturesque old harbour), the wooden Church of Sainte-Catherine (the largest timber-framed church in France), the cobbled streets of the old town, and a stop at a local bakery. Honfleur’s harbour, with its tall slate-fronted houses reflected in the water, is one of the most photographed scenes in Normandy.

Return to Paris (~2 hours): The drive back from Honfleur to Paris takes approximately two hours. Your driver drops you at your Paris hotel. Total day: approximately 13 hours.

Mont-Saint-Michel + Honfleur: Why This Combination Works

The two towns complement each other well on a single day, and the geography makes it practical — Mont-Saint-Michel is at the southern end of Normandy, Honfleur at the northeastern end near the Seine estuary.
